What is Cadence like?

Cadence is one of Henderson's newest master-planned communities, on the east side of the valley off Lake Mead Parkway. Homes started selling in 2014, so you get modern floor plans, energy efficient construction, and a neighborhood built around parks and trails.

The heart of it is Central Park, close to 50 acres with a resident pool, a splash pad, pickleball, and two amphitheaters that host concerts and food truck nights. Trails lead out to the River Mountains Loop, and Lake Mead is about a quarter hour away.

Builders such as Lennar, Woodside, Century, Beazer, and D.R. Horton have neighborhoods here, from townhomes to single family homes, mostly priced from the $300,000s into the $700,000s. Heritage at Cadence is a guard gated 55+ neighborhood by Lennar. The land was once part of a World War II magnesium plant and was cleaned up under state oversight, so every lot carries an environmental covenant worth reading if you plan a pool.
