How many Los Prados Golf Homes homes are for sale at each price?

Which Los Prados villages are on the course?
Golf lots are spread through the 21 villages. Ask us which village a listing is in, since the four 55+ villages have their own rules and their own fee.
What is it like to live on the course in Los Prados?
Los Prados feels settled. It went up in the 1980s, so the trees along the fairways are full grown, which newer communities take decades to match. Inside the two staffed gates are 1,358 homes in 21 villages, from small patio homes and townhomes to single-family houses on the course.
The big difference is who owns the golf. In most Las Vegas golf communities a company owns the course, and if it stops making money it can close, the way Silverstone did in the northwest valley in 2015. Here the homeowners association owns the course and the clubhouse, so that call belongs to the owners. The other side of that is the budget: the course is the association's to maintain, so its reserves and dues matter more here than where the golf belongs to someone else.
The course is on the short side, just under 6,000 yards, and open to the public. Residents can join for better rates and tee time priority, and the clubhouse has the 19th Hole restaurant and lounge. Away from the golf, the association runs two pools, tennis courts, pickleball, shuffleboard, a volunteer library, a 2.2 mile walking loop on Los Prados Circle, and an RV lot with 205 spaces.
Expect the usual golf lot tradeoffs: stray balls on some holes, early mowers, and CC&Rs that control fences and views. Most homes date from the 1980s and 1990s, so budget for roofs, plumbing, windows, and air conditioning.
What should you check before buying a Los Prados golf home?
Read the association's budget and reserves for the course, confirm any age rules, check where the home sits on the hole, and price insurance on the exact address.
- Course budget and reserves
Because the association owns the course and clubhouse, ask for the resale package, the budget, the reserve study, and any special assessment, voted or proposed.
- 55+ village rules
If the home is in one of the four age-restricted villages, confirm who may live there and the sub-association fee before you write an offer.
- Ball traffic on the lot
Walk the yard on a busy morning. Dings in the stucco, patched windows, or netting tell you how often balls come over the wall.
- Fence, view, and parking rules
Golf lots usually require view fencing and limit what you plant along the fairway. Read the CC&Rs for those and for parking and RV storage.
- Insurance on the address
Get a quote early and ask how glass and roof damage from golf balls is handled.
